A comprehensive, CISCE-aligned curriculum that balances academic depth with creative thinking, values education and real-world relevance.
St. Mary’s Orthodox School follows the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) curriculum from Nursery through Class XII. Our pedagogy is built on the conviction that every child is unique — and that great teaching sparks curiosity, builds confidence and instils a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Pre-Primary (Pre-Nursery – UKG)
Play-based, activity-centred learning that builds early literacy, numeracy, social skills and a joyful foundation for school life.
Primary Section (Class I – V)
Core subjects taught through stories, projects and hands-on activities. English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS and foundational sciences, Social Studies and Computers.
Middle Section (Class VI – VIII)
Introduction to subject specialisation — Sciences, Social Studies, Mathematics, Languages and Computer Science deepen in scope and rigour.
Secondary (Class IX – X) — ICSE
Preparation for the ICSE Board Examination with a broad subject basket covering Sciences, Humanities, Languages and electives.
Senior Secondary (Class XI – XII) — ISC
Three streams offered — Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics, Compluter Application, Physical Education, Arts, Applied Mathematics), Commerce (Accounts, Commerce, Economics) and Humanities History, Sociology, Economics. Students are prepared for ISC Board and competitive examinations.
Concept-First Teaching
Teachers emphasise understanding over memorisation. Concepts are introduced through real-life examples and built progressively across classes.
Activity-Based & Experiential Learning
Science labs, project work, field visits, debates and group activities ensure students learn by doing — not just by listening.
Technology Integration
Smart classrooms, digital resources and computer education are integrated into daily teaching to prepare students for a technology-driven world.
