Affiliated to CISCE
St. Mary’s Orthodox School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school offers classes from Pre-Primary to Class XII, preparing students for the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) examinations.
Our Approach to Learning
We follow a learner-centred approach that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and creativity. Beyond rote learning, we focus on developing conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills and the ability to apply knowledge in real-world contexts.
Pre-Primary (Nursery – UKG)
The Pre-Primary wing provides a play-based, nurturing environment where young learners develop foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Activities are designed to make learning joyful and age-appropriate.
Primary Section (Classes I – V)
The primary curriculum lays strong foundations in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Hindi and Computer Science. Activity-based learning, project work and continuous assessment support holistic development at this stage.
Middle School (Classes VI – VIII)
Students in the middle school experience a broadened curriculum with greater depth across subjects. Science splits into Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and students are introduced to formal examination preparation alongside co-curricular activities.
Senior School (Classes IX – XII)
Classes IX and X follow the ICSE syllabus with a rich choice of elective subjects. Classes XI and XII offer streams in Science, Commerce and Humanities, preparing students for higher education and professional careers.
Co-Curricular Integration
Academic learning is enriched through debates, quiz competitions, science fairs, art exhibitions, sports events and cultural programmes. Co-curricular activities are considered an essential part of each student’s overall development.
